Pad See Ew - Food encounter-
Today, I would like to introduce you to Pad See Ew!
It is a Thai dish, with thick noodles, flavored with soy sauce-based sauce.
I first had this when I moved to San Francisco, and my Thai friends recommended I try it. At that time, the only Thai dishes that I had tried were Pad Kra Pao, Pad Thai, Kao Man Gai, spring rolls, and yellow curry.
I had never seen or heard of Pad See Ew, so I was curious to have it.
It doesn't have a fishy flavor (If I remember correctly).
It contains meat (chicken/beef/pork), egg, and Chinese spinach(Pak choi).
I became a huge fan, and I even went to a Thai restaurant
to eat it on the day before I left SF,
because I knew that I would miss this!!
3050 Taraval St, San Francisco, CA 94116
They also have this dessert↓
These are fried bananas with honey, served with coconut ice cream.
It's really good.
Fried bananas are really hot when they are served,
so it goes really well with coconut ice cream!
The reason why I decided to introduce this dish is because
I can never find it here.....
I want people to know this dish so those who are working for Thai Restaurants
might add it to their menus...!!!
If you find Pad See Ew somewhere in Tokyo, please let me know!!
